As HOA President, I received this email from OPPD.
Happy August! Summer is flying by, but there’s still plenty of sunshine and fun to enjoy.
I’m happy to share many exciting updates from OPPD. Click the links below to learn more.
Better visibility into power outages and a new self-service feature are just two of the many benefits our customers can expect when our new outage map launches this fall. Our new interactive map will provide quick, easy access to outage information, including real-time information about outages. Outage details will include the number of customers affected, cause, estimated restoration and more. You can even subscribe to get updates via text or email.
User-friendly features that empower you, that's MyOPPD. Our new customer portal is coming this fall and will replace MyAccount. Get ready for a lot more information and new, user-friendly features when you log into your OPPD customer account. A new customer portal, MyOPPD, will launch soon with tools to help customers track their electricity usage and get regular updates on outages at their homes or businesses.
Smart Technology is on the Way
It’s here – we’ll soon be hard at work exchanging our customers’ existing meters with smart meters. In late 2025, we will soft launch new meters to a small group of customers, followed by full deployment to all customers through 2028. Learn about the new features, benefits and tools that come with smart meters at an upcoming open house or virtual presentation. Our website provides a full list of events, and also answers to common customer questions about the new technology.
Thank you for staying connected with OPPD. We value our partnership with neighborhood associations and appreciate your continued support in helping us serve our communities. If you have any questions, feedback or would like more information on anything shared in this newsletter, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
